Getting rid of pesky fleas and ticks is only half the battle. Doing it safely is a challenge in itself. Since many pet products contain hazardous chemicals, safety is a concern to both pets and humans.

Parasite prevention tips

After each walk in the countryside, meticulous manual inspection of your companions fur followed by brushing. Also check the bottom of your pants before you go home: ticks can sometimes hide there.

To avoid fleas and ticks, we suggest to:

 - Regularly bathe your pet with natural cleaners
 - Vacuum the home once a week
 - Empty the bin bag and dispose of its contents
 - Wash pet bedding in hot, soapy water once a week
 - Frequently use a fine-toothed flea comb on your pet

There are few effective products such as Phyto anti-Tick & Flea. They are based on essential oils and are applied at different points of the spine. If your dog attracts ticks you should apply this product every week or every 3 or 4 days.

At Phyto Companion, we use only natural ingredients and avoid any chemical compounds.
